PH 2/1 Portable Lamp

Poul Henningsen endeavoured to create glare-free light, direct light where it was most needed, and create soft shadows. His mathematical approach, using the logarithmic spiral, led to the three-shade system in 1925–26.

The PH 2/1 Portable is a cordless version of the classic petite table lamp, with mouth-blown opal glass shades and a stem and base in either high-lustre chrome or metallised brass.
